Changes for 2008

There will be some significant changes to the line of Snowshark Monoskis for the 2008 year.

Every season, we spend a significant amount of time on re-design and testing of our products and also pay attention to what you, the consumer are buying. In that, we have made the decision to retire some of our models and re-design others for 2008. In addition to that, there will be new models and sizes added in 2008 as time allows. Please keep in mind that the parent companies of Snowshark are able to continue product development with the use of revenues generated through sales of composites in aerospace and architecture.

For the immediate future the following changes will be made:

TT Hammer- 170, 180 and 187 cm have been re-designed with a rounded & higher nose, more camber and a slightly softer flex pattern. This enables the ski to get up on powder or soft snow quicker and perform better on groomed surfaces due to higher pressures on the tip and tail. Graphics will remain the same. Pictures will be posted within the next week.

Powdershark- 175, 185 and 200cm. The 200cm is the same, 185cm has increased camber and a slightly softer flex pattern while the 175 cm is an all new ski. The three skis sport a rounded and higher nose to get the ski up on soft snow or powder conditions faster.

Don't think of the Powdershark line as dedicated powder monoskis. The 200cm is definitely a big mountain powder ride while the 185 and 175 models are exceptional in all mountain snow conditions. We have extensively tested them over the last two years and are confident in their performance. See Graphics below

T3 Gun Barrel- will continue in the 188 cm version only. See Graphics below

Graphics on the Powdershark & T3 Gun Barrel will be changed to those of last years Mako line. This is strictly a decision made on economics where we have a substantial supply of TT Hammer, Mako and Mountain Gun graphic top sheets on hand. As many of you know, we buy our base and top sheet material out of Europe and the currency exchange rates have drastically impacted costs. So, we had a choice, do new graphics and raise the price substantially otr use what's on hand and hold the price. We chose to hold the price.

Mako, Mountain Gun and Tigershark - These entire lines will be retired from our production and available on a "special order" basis only. Tooling will be maintained for the foreseeable future.

Bindings- We will be discontinuing Salomon bindings in the next week and bringing on two new lines with details to follow.
